Karnataka Elections 2023: Religious Beliefs of Candidates
Hardwork and luck are the two sides of the same coin which mutually translate to the same thing, It is true that God helps those who help themselves.
Prayers and charms work where there is application of human efforts to the task at hand. We have seen people fail despite the best of efforts and extremely devout people lose miserably.

Some people fail despite their hard work and prayers. In the first case luck was missing from their efforts while the extremely devout people failed due to no efforts.
What about people who worked hard and prayed? And what is the inference? We need both luck and pluck to win our cases finally. The efforts should be put in the right direction which guarantees success.
In other words, make hay while the sun shines. But it is equally true that it is gods will that runs the show. Practically speaking, it can't be denied that election and marriage are both similar events with respect to one thing. Both are gambles that work or do not work.
This is exactly what happened in the case of some dignitary political leaders. Every leader took to prayers as the last resort. Some of the leaders, extensively toured all pilgrimage centres, and conducted yagas and yagnyas. All leaders belonging to all parties prayed. One of them won and the other failed.
When a dignitary politician was on route to a place to address a public meeting, the chopper had to make an emergency landing due to some technical complications.
The same dignitary escaped another chopper disaster within a whisker but got compensatory yagas conducted to nullify the inauspicious effects of the occurrence.
But

According to his perception, it is the hand of the divine that works ultimately in all human efforts and he resorted to prayers and yagnyas to get the desired result.
The results have been too baffling for all the parties. These days, where people do not believe in divine powers and solely rely on their own handiwork, these dignitaries have set a different example.
Dignitaries, and politicians have an unquenchable appetite for astrological predictions and get homas done to achieve their purpose. Mani mantra oushadhis always work as per ancient wisdom and this is how it has worked this time.
