Kajari Teej is a significant festival celebrated by married women in India, particularly in the states of Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Bihar. It falls on the third day after Raksha Bandhan and marks the arrival of monsoon season.
One of the essential aspects of this festival is applying intricate mehndi designs on hands and feet. This year Kajari teej will be celebrated on 2 September 2023. Tips for Applying Mehndi
Prepare
your
skin
by
exfoliating
gently
before
applying
mehndi.
Choose
high-quality
henna
paste
to
ensure
a
rich
colour.
Leave
the
mehndi
on
for
at
least
4-6
hours
for
optimal
results.
Once
dry,
scrape
off
the
dried
paste
without
using
water.-
Avoid
contact
with
water
or
any
other
liquid
immediately
after
removing
the
paste
to
deepen
the
colour.
