Hartalika Teej 2023: If You Are On Periods On This Day, You Should Follow These Rules
Hartalika Teej 2023: The auspicious festival of Hartalika Teej will be celebrated on Monday, 18 September 2023 and it is observed by married women who observe fast and worship for the long life of husband and marital bliss. This day also celebrates the divine union of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati.
This Teej is considered a very holy and sacred festival. On this day, married women do sixteen adornments and observe Nirjala fast throughout the day. However, some women can be on their periods or menstruate during this time period, so certain rituals have to be avoided. Let us know how to keep the fast of Hartalika Teej during periods.

1. You can observe Nirjala fast even during menstruation. On the morning of Hartalika Teej, after taking a bath, wear clean and white clothes and do solah Srinagar.
2. While fasting during periods, you need to take care that you do not touch any items associated with the puja ritual.
3. On the day of Hartalika Teej, Lord Shiva, Goddess Parvati, and Lord Ganesha are worshipped. In such a situation, the food offered to them is also very pure, hence do not touch the food during menstruation. Do not touch the idols of God and the pictures.
4. Do not worship the three Gods and Goddesses on this day by yourself. Let some other women in the house do this puja and if there is no other woman in the house then get your husband to do this puja, then you both can sit together.
5. Every woman can do Jagran on this day during the night.
