Hariyali Teej 2023: Shravan or Sawan is considered the favourite month of Lord Shiva and it holds immense religious and cultural significance. Many fasts and festivals are also observed during this month and according to the Gregorian Calendar, it falls either in the month of July or August.

Hariyali Teej is also celebrated during the month of Sawan and it is very special for married women, who eagerly wait for this day. On this day, she observes Nirjala fast for the whole day for the long life of their husband and well being of their family.

Every year on the third day of Shukla Paksha of the month of Shravan, certain rituals are observed for Hariyali Teej fast. This year, Tritiya Tithi will start on 18 August at 8.01 pm and end on 19 August at 10.19 pm. Considering Udaya Tithi, Hariyali Teej fast will be observed on Saturday, 19 August.

Hariyali Teej 2023: Puja Muhurat
On Hariyali Teej, married women can worship ord Shiva and his consort, Devi Parvati, are worshipped from 07.30 am to 09.08 am. In case they miss the early morning time, they can worship the deities from 12.25 pm to 05.19 pm.

Ravi Yoga will also be formed on this day which will start on 19 August at 1.47 am and will end at 5.53 am on 20 August.
