Spiritual Things To Do On Thursday
Thursday is considered to be a special day in Hinduism. It is a weekday that is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Lord Vishnu is on of the Tridev who is also known as the preserver of the universe. Thursday or Guruvar is commonly called as Vrihaspativar as it is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Lord Brihaspati (Guru of Gods).
Lord Vishnu is a human body with four arms. The idol wears an embellished crown and carries a conch (shankh), a mace (gada), and discus (chakra). In Hinduism, yellow is a sacred colour that represents knowledge and learning. Goddess Lakshmi is the wife of this omnipresent Lord and is the Goddess of wealth. So, to bring wealth and prosperity in the house, many Hindu believers worship both Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi on Thursday and Friday respectively.
In South India, Lord Vishnu is worshiped in almost all the household. To bring prosperity and wealth, people worship Lord Vishnu on Thursday. Even otherwise, Thursday is considered as one of the spiritual days in Hinduism. So what spiritual things you should follow on a Thursday? Take a look.
