Why Should You Use Panchadeepam Oil To Light A Diya?

We usually light diyas with the major intention of dispelling darkness. The sacred flame from the Diya emits a positive aura while banishing our inner darkness. When you light a diya, you get into a peaceful mood which will inspire you to meditate. The flame lets you focus on it, then you slowly go inwards, contemplate and reflect on your own shortcomings and pluses and you are all set on a journey towards self improvement. Your ignorance and suffering is gently removed by the armour of knowledge and inner wisdom and It is the spiritual flame that shines the path in your inward journey.
Every Hindu household is used to light lamps for puja, or for bursting crackers and generally for any purpose that requires it. A lamp that is lit has its own spiritual story to tell. It ushers in wealth health and prosperity apart from tearing away your veil of ignorance. Sins of crores of janmas get cleared off your account, and the Deepa is Jyoti, the parabrahman who is worshipped by the devout folk with devoted surrender.
To light a panchadeepam lamp, five varieties of oils are used each of which has a spiritual benefit that works miracles for you. As per your requirements, you can choose any of these oils or choose the combination of all these oils, namely Panchadeepam oil to eliminate your pains and bring a sense of peace to your life..
Cow Ghee
Cows' ghee is a product of the most divine and auspicious animal in the animal kingdom. Ghee Diya absorbs all positive elements from the atmosphere and radiates it around for a long time. It grants affluence, bestows health and happiness. It makes the people and home exude a radiance of their own. Ghee Diya is mostly lit for Goddess Mahalakshmi. Lighting this will invoke her blessings and good luck, while destroying negativities around.
1. Sesame Oil
Also called Til oil, lighting a sesame oil Diya rids you of any possible dosha and evicts evil spirits. If you have been suffering your karmas for too long, you can light the Til oil Diya to eradicate the problems. During Sade Sati, or Saturn's antardasha, sesame oil must be lit for removal of the evil planetary effect.
2. Neem Oil
A blend of neem oil and mahua oil can attract the blessings of Goddess Parasakthi and Kula devatas. Affluence is doubled by the use of this oil by lighting the Diya to Goddess. If you are embroiled in feuds and generally troubled by opposition and conspiracies, you should perform a sahasranama archana to Lord Bhairava on Amavasya.
3. Castor Oil
Castor oil is conducive for domestic happiness, spiritual growth, good reputation and prosperity in general. It also gets you good fortune from your kith and kin.

It curtails the evil vibes and establishes positivity everywhere at home. It ensures constant prosperity and ashta nidhis. There is no dearth for food and happiness. You will be able to clear your debts and any reason for disharmonious domestic relationships will be removed.
Panchadeepam oil has to be poured into a Diya and lit in order to worship Lord Bhairava on Amavasya for riddance from hindrances and fear of any sort. One should also, at the same time do pushparchana with red Oleander flowers and get a sahasranamarchana done. The same puja if accompanied with Vibhuti abhishekam to Lord Bhairava will clear your health problems once for all. Sunflower oil and groundnut however useful they may be for our daily lives, are the last choices to be used in Diyas for Pujas. Doing so would only cause financial hardship.
