Mount Kailash is a holy place found in the Tibetan Himalayas and a spiritual centre for some religions of the world including Hinduism. It is located in an isolated part of Tibetan Plateau. 1. Himalayas is directly at the dividing point of North Pole and South pole and Mount Kailash is at the centre of Himalayas. Hence it is the centre of the earth. It is also an important part of the spiritual traditions of four major religions.

It is also a center called Axis Mundi (Cosmic axis). Axis Mundi means the navel or celestial pole of the world and the center of the geographical pole. It is a connection point between the heavens and the earth where ten directions meet. According to Russian scientists, Axis Mundi is where supernatural powers exist with which you can make a contact. It is called the stairway between the heaven and the Earth.
