Keep Away From These People As Per Chanakya Niti

three types

Chanakya is a world renowned figure whose words are respected and followed closely by great many people even after 3000 years after his era. He knew the pulse of all cross sections of society and offered advice on how to manage certain categories of people when it was required. Especially when we are dealing with thugs, we need to be doubly careful.

Here are a few wise words about these categories and ways how to handle them. These three types flee from the scene when their company is facing problems. They are not genuine and trustworthy. We should avoid them from a distance in order to preserve our peace of mind and sanity.

Chanakya lived around 3000 years ago, in India, during the Mauryan times and wrote a masterpiece of Chanakya Niti wherein he depicted his life experiences in their entirety. This book is also famous as Chanakya Niti. This book discusses several important things about family, society and the nation in all their aspects which hold water even today.

Three types of people must never be trusted and they should be kept at bay. If anything goes adverse they are the first to take flight and never pitch in to help the company, they are working for.

1. Keep Away From Those Who Work Only For Their Own Benefits

A person who always sees some benefit for himself in any given situation must be avoided like a plague. He always works having self-interest on his mind. He is not particularly bothered about others wellbeing and hence he should be kept at bay. When in troubled times, self-interest is on the topmost of their minds. They unfailingly cheat others to pursue and get what they want by any means. This person might sometimes be especially close to you but he does not think twice to do anything unlawful for his own benefit.

2. Do Not Befriend Inconsiderate People

For some people, money is their only priority. Human feelings do not seem as important to them. Even if others are living in squalor or poverty, he does not care for their pain. All he wants to talk about is money, money and money. IF you are wise, stay away from them.

3. Do Not Beg For Mercy

It is not a wise thing to befriend those who do not have conscience. For instance, thieves and robbers have a hardened conscience and do not bother about the pain of others. They would love to confiscate others possessions and do not feel a bit of remorse about it. They are not bothered about the huge loss to the life and possessions of the victims. It is not wise to expect mercy and empathy from them and to befriend them is equal to taking a great risk.
