Chanakya Niti: Helpful Tips For Women To Achieve Domestic Harmony And Happiness

Acharya Chanakya more popularly known as Kautilya, was the celebrated author of Artha shastra. He was not only a friend, guide and philosopher to Chandragupta Maurya, but also was a statesman and economist for the Mauryan empire. The Chanakya Niti has captured the essence of human life and politics which is a beacon for those who have difficulty in taking successful decisions.
Chanakya was behind the colossal success of the Mauryan empire. His experiences and observations of people from all cross sections in all possible aspects of life are chronicled in his magnum opus Chanakya Niti. He also guides people on their behavioral aspects and takes them on the path of Dharma. Chanakya also dealt with issues of Women and in his work and points at the direction which they should choose, in order to live a life of harmony and happiness.
Do Not Decide Under Pressure
Woman is the backbone of her family whose decisions have a far-reaching effect on her family. In many families, she is the one who decides about everything, stands at the helm of responsibilities and shoulders the burden of the family in all aspects. She needs to take decisions that should augur well for the family happiness and uphold the respect that it commands in society. So some miscalculated decisions and decisions taken under pressure will not only make her regret her move but also drowns her self-confidence.
Do Not Be Self Centred
She has to consider the family's interest as well as hers while taking certain decisions. It is difficult to take everything into account at the same time and execute her decisions with ease. Sometimes, women tend to react negatively to stress and focus their attention on sorting out their personal problems. Some but not all women are very conscious about their affluent status, or their educational qualifications. This actually reflects in their behavior and attitude as well. In such a case, one has to learn to value the human relationships. Sometimes men too display similar tendencies which have to be corrected in the nick of time to save their families.
Do Not Resort To Lies Or Deception
Be it man or woman, it is not advisable to engage in falsehood and deceit. The masks that we wear for the society may sometimes mask your intentions effectively but not for long. This pushes the family to the brink of distress as a result. These habits can also backfire on the deceitful person himself and throw him into misery.
These three things are more important for the women to follow as they are the pivotal points around which the interests of the family revolve. Moreover, such behavior may invite rebuke from the society as well. We need to watch out for these tendencies which may negatively impact our lives on the whole.
