Interacting With The World Of The Dead
The understanding of death has been the single most elusive facet in connecting with the realm of true wisdom. As humans who fear the aspect of death, the concept by itself has troubled and dogged the minds of some of the greatest scholars and philosophers.
To facilitate our understanding or not, the irony of it all is that death has been differently elaborated by various scholars who've walked the earth. So the questions that arises at this juncture are these - if we aren't able to concretely understand the concept of death, how then do we understand the world of the dead? How do we go on to understand the interaction people have achieved with the world of the dead?
As confounding as these questions are, history has a lot to say. There have been civilizations that have spoken elaborately on the interaction with the world of the dead. Taking from these interactions, ancient civilizations such as the Mayans and Incas have established a credible connect with the dead. They've come to understand that souls transcend into a new world, a new realm of existence. Notwithstanding, they've come to understand that our own wisdom is the result of numerous interactions with the world of the dead.
One of the reasons why we revere ancestors and people of an earlier birth is because right from the ancient times, it has been believed that souls from another existence are the main source of our wisdom. Certain scholars are of the impression that it is possible for every one of us humans to interact with the alternate world. Here are a few aspects worth considering in this regard.
