His Simplicity

Srikavi, one of the devotees of Yogi Ram Surath Kumar narrates his experience with his holy master.
"This is an incident happened some years before which helps to know our Maha Guruji's simplicity and holiness.

Once a group of police officers none of them work inThiruvannamalai once came into Yogi Ramsuraktumar's Company, one of them bearing a basket of fruit as an offering. Once he had placed the basket at the master's feet, the man began to regale the beggar with a testimony of his own spiritual prowess. "Swami, I am getting up in the morning; I do some meditation; I do satsang some name of God..." The man went on at length, while Yogi silently listened to everything. Patiently, He allowed the man to speak for what seemed to others like an inordinate amount of time.

Finally, taking hold of the man's hands, the master lovingly instructed: "Now this beggar feels He should leave you. This beggar will touch these fruits and you can take them as prasadam with you..." Still holding the man's hand; he started walking him to his car. The honored man followed Bhagavan's lead without question. Together they walked out to the man's car where Guru Yogi Ramsuratkumar gave His unusual final blessing and then came back to His place.

A long line of people awaited Bhagavan's dharshan at that time, and several of his devotees were puzzled as to why the master had spent so much time with this man, especially considering the nature of his tedious monologue. "You gave all this respect to this fellow, why?" one of the devotees asked Bhagavan.
Maha Guru replies him with his divine smile:

"Some people come to this beggar for bhakthi; some people come to this beggar for some problem to be solved; and some people expect this beggar to give them some respect. What's wrong in giving them their due respect?"

Surely, there was no answer to this counter question. The master then continued, drawing out several principles that underlie the way of loving humanity by giving us what we want until we are ready to take what the Divine wants to give us in abundant measure.

"There is nothing that the beggar would to lose. They wanted to get some respect from this beggar and this beggar gave them the respect. Where is the problem? And if some one comes wanting some bhakthi, this beggar is ready to give bhakthi to that fellow. That man came here wanting to get some respect from this beggar and this beggar gave it to him!"

There are a lot to quote here to expose the greatness and holiness of Yogiji.

The Message

Balakumaran, one of the die hard devotees of Yogiji and a noted Tamil writer says, "Surely, the experience with my Bhagwan is beyond narration. He has shown me God.
Here is the message from our Guru, I got when I approached for the first time. It is simple, but very powerful: Whatever you do, wherever you are, be like Anjaneya – Maruthi always thinking of Rama and doing actions in the world. At every stage, we face problems, today one problem and tomorrow the other and the next day we face another one. So this beggar begs all of you not to forget the divine name Rama. The name may be differs like Siva or Ganapathy or Shakthi. Choose whatever name or form, but carry out this wish the beggar begs of you . Never forget the divine. This divine name is just like an umbrella during heavy rainfall.

Catch hold of the divine name and go on doing your work in the world…" this is the Mantra first I learnt from our Guru Yogi Ramsurath Kumar. The same is shown me god finally.
So lets follow our Guruji's path and guidance, and be blessed with the experience of God. .
