This temple is known to have such a magnetic pull over first-time devotees, who after a few visits to this temple, become permanent devotees to the Lord. The miracles of Coconut Anjaneya that happen on a usual basis here, are beyond any scientific enquiry.

The Hanuman statue was sculptured in Saligrama town in south Kanara. This 4 feet tall deity was installed by Guru Sri Vyasaajaru and sculptured in Saligram town near Udupi, South Kanara. Designed by the late Sri Kempegowda, about 150 years ago, it was built in the Dravidian style.

The Coconut Miracle: The very first miracle that stuns your senses is the coconut miracle. When the devotees visit this temple, the first thing they do is to sit there, narrate their tales to Lord Anjaneya and perform 3 pradakshinas, do a sashtang namaskar.

After this they are instructed to meditate on Anjaneya for some time. It is now that a miracle occurs. It is unbelievably mysterious but everyone who visits this temple reports it as an authentic experience that has been ongoing for the past so many centuries.

This miracle is also mentioned in the Vyasrayas life history. As you are meditating, and if your prayers are likely to be fulfilled, you hear a sound of a coconut breaking.

This shows that the result is bound to come within a few days. If you do not hear a coconut breaking, it is possible for your wish to get fulfilled but it takes time.

The Idol Sheds Tears: Every year on the day of Hanuma Jayanti, which arrives sometime in December on the Chaitra Poornima, a miracle occurs. The chief deity sheds tears and people gather in huge numbers to see this miracle.

Anjaneya Fulfils All Your WIshes: This is a wish fulfilling temple where anything you ask for materialises according to the devotees who visit this temple regularly. Special pujas are done here on a regular basis.

You can find other deities also installed in the temple. During Saturdays and important festivals, the temple gets the busiest. Ram Navami and Hanuman Jayanti, as usually seen in any Maruti temple, are the most grandly celebrated festivals.

Anna Dana: Anna dana is conducted on Saturdays and Sundays for 2000 people. Government is sponsoring the free lunch every day here between 12 PM to 2 PM as prasadam. Prasadam is distributed or shipped for long distance devotees who are unable to visit the temple. Prasadam is distributed in the afternoon.

Ugadi is yet another festival celebrated here, with enthusiasm and gusto, wherein Annadana and Abhisheka are conducted in the temple. God is decorated in the most charming way on this day. Ratha yatras are the main features during Navaratri, and Hanuman Jayanti.
