Chanakya Niti: Do Not Sacrifice These Important Things

Chanakya Niti is a collection of ideas written by the world's foremost teacher and guru whose tips for living a productive life has empowered many human beings. It applies to even today s times. Chanakya was blessed with supreme intelligence and had hundred back up plans for every situation.

friendships

He had a super-fast brain that could think in ten different directions at once. This was how he created such a great empire.

Learn From Others Mistakes

Learn from others experiences and do not wait to learn from your own.Life expectancy decreases, human effort doubles, health declines if you wait for experiences of life to teach you the lessons. Using this method, you can't learn much owing to the above reasons. Struggle always brings down your resilience. Learning from others experience is like having twenty different teachers at once who can teach you umpteen truths of life and it helps enormously in facing life situations. At least it does not harm. Learning from others defeats is much better than learning through your own defeat. For example, if you want to know how fire can kill a person, you must only learn from others experience. Trying to learn this lesson from your experience will be lethal.

Keep Your Self Respect Intact

Losing your pride and self-respect is equal to losing your life. Always stick to dharma and do not relinquish it just because you find it appealing. You should stick to the group you were born in, its mores and ways of conduct etc so that you feel secured with an identity to call your own. This group in which you are born gives you the cultural roots and stabilizes you from within. It gives you the strength to combat any problem that may arise.

Strike Friendship With People Of The Same Wavelength

Secondly seek friendships with likeminded people. Friendships with people higher in status or with celebrities or someone higher in intelligence than you do not help for long. You may dissociate from them sooner or later. There is a very old Sanskrit saying that says " vivahashcha vivadashcha samayoreva shobhate" this means marriage alliance or arguments (it can be fight also) can be well matched if both are on the same wavelength or of same status. Marrying above or below your status brings its set of problems and distress. But marrying a person from a similar status of life is a much better option. If among the two arguing people, one is stupid, then both of them will hit the roof with disappointment. The reason will be the same.

Acquire Knowledge

Acquire more knowledge on all subjects, which you are capable of understanding. Knowledge is power, and it helps to know a few things about an unfamiliar place before you step into it, or when you are dealing with vastly different set of attitudes or types of work. Knowledge comes of help in a conversation especially with people who are good at different subjects. By knowing something about this subject earlier you can safely get the conversation rolling with them. Knowledge also helps you hone your problem solving skills.
