RUdraksha is differentiated by the number of faces. Each variety of Rudrakshi has its own powers and is used for specific uses. Troubles of all kinds from the life of the worshipper can be eliminated by wearing Rudraksha.

Rules for wearing Rudraksha: During the morning before wearing the Rudraksha, after removing Rudraksha and before going to Bed, you need to recite the Rudraksha mantra about 9 times. After removing Rudraksha, keep it in a sacred holy place like the altar of your puja mandir.

Rudraksha is as holy as Tulsi. When there is a birth of a child in the family, and during meat and alcohol consumption, and also during the visit to a cemetery the Rudraksha should not be worn.

Rudraksha should not be touched in an unclean state, when you have not bathed, and must be worn only when you are clean.

Do not speak lies when you are wearing Rudraksha, and visit Shiva temple to seek his blessing. If your Rudraksha beads are cracked, wear another one as cracked beads will have altered energy and may not help your kid.

RUdraksha mala creates a shield using your own energy and this shields your kid against negative impact of energies. It gives clarity of mind and enhances spiritual growth.

Students must wear 4 mukhi, 6 mukhi and Ganesh Rudraksha. One mukhi rudraksha should never be worn by kids as it is supposed to work only for monks who are pursuing liberation.

On the whole, Rudraksha can be worn by children, students, the elderly and the sick. However it can have some side reactions for the first two days. There is no need for panic.

Do not tie the Rudraksha on a black thread. Always wear it on red or yellow thread. Black is the colour of ignorance and it does not take you to light of knowledge if you wear Rudraksha on a black thread,

Rudraksha may be allergic to some people as they contract the heat present in the Rudraksha. Such people should worship Rudraksha by placing them on the altar of the puja room.
