Ayodhya Ram Mandir: Who Is Arun Yogiraj? Know About The Sculptor Of Ram Lalla Idol
The construction of the grand Ayodhya Ram temple is now in its final stages and the Pran Pratishtha or Concecration program will take place on January 22, 2024. The construction of not one but three statues for the temple has been completed.
The idol of Ram Lalla made by a Mysore sculptor Arun Yogiraj will be installed in the sanctum sanctorum. In total, there will be three idols. So, the remaining two which will be kept in the other parts of the temple will be prepared by sculptor Ganesh Bhatt of Bengaluru and another by Satyanarayan Pandey of Rajasthan.

The three sculptors made three statues for the temple.
According to Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Trust, one idol has been finalized for Pran Pratishtha, while the other two idols will also be installed in other parts of the temple. The statue of Arun Yogiraj has been selected for consecration. This statue is 51 inches tall. It will be made to sit on a lotus flower seat in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple.
The total length of this idol along with the lotus flower will be 8 feet. Ram Lalla will be seen in a standing position. The most important thing about this idol is that it shows the child form of Lord Rama.
Through this idol, one can see his 5-year-old child form. For this reason, bow and arrow will not be shown in it. Krishna stone has been used for the construction of this idol which was brought from Udupi, Karnataka.
Let us know about the sculptor Arun Yogiraj, whose grand statue will be installed in Ayodhya Ram temple.
