What Is Akshat Rice?
Akshat has special importance from a religious point of view and it is mainly used in worship and tilak. Apart from this, they are also used in the form of kheer and sweet rice, etc. in offering to God. Many of you have received the invitation for the consecration of Ram Lalla at your home and you may also have a dilemma in your mind as to what to do with the intact i.e. yellow rice found in the invitation.

It is believed that yellow rice brings success in any auspicious work. Let us know how to use the Akshat found in the invitation for the consecration of Ram Lala.

1. Mix the Akshat (rice) that came from Shri Ram Temple in a bowl of clean and whole rice and divide it into four parts. Put 2 cloves in the first portion of rice, tie it to a yellow clean cloth, make a bundle, and keep it in the safe of your house. By doing this there will never be a shortage of money and grains in your house.

2. Add 2 cloves to the second portion of rice tie it in a yellow cloth and make a bundle. You should keep it in the temple or cash drawer of your workplace i.e. shop, factory, etc. By doing this you will get double the progress.

3. The third part is to be kept in a box in the temple of your home. Whenever you do any auspicious work, use these Akshats with Roli.

4. Use the fourth part to make kheer or yellow sweet rice for offering to Lord Shri Ram on 22 January. After offering food to the Lord, it is better if you can distribute this Prasad to your family members as well as people. The blessings of Lord Ram will remain on you and your family.
