Ayodhya Ram Mandir: Reciting These 8 Ramayan Chaupais On Pran Pratistha Day Will Bring These Benefits

Ramcharitmanas has been written in Chaupais (quatrain verse) and therefore, reciting them on the Pran Pratishtha day of Lord Rama is said to bring happiness and prosperity to a person's life.

What Is Ramayan Chaupai?

Ramayan Chaupai, a collection of verses or couplets dedicated to Lord Rama, holds immense significance in Hindu culture. Composed in the vernacular Awadhi language by the revered Hindu sage Tulsidas. The core of his work is said to be a poetic retelling of the events of the Ramayana, which is a Sanskrit epic by Valmiki. The story is centered on the narrative of Rama, the scion of the family tree of King Raghu of the Sun Dynasty, his wife Sita, and brother Lakshman.

The recitation of Ramayan Chaupai is considered spiritually uplifting. The verses encapsulate the virtues, values, and righteous principles exemplified by Lord Rama. By reflecting on these teachings, individuals strive to cultivate a sense of righteousness, compassion, and devotion in their own lives.
