Ram Setu, the very mention of it feels like a hair raising experience. It was the ultimate icon of true and divine love which tamed the unruly ocean with just a stony bridge that was built to bring his lady love and wife Sita back to his life. Rama and Sitas tale oflove is a sheer saga of willpower and power of the spirit. Your Sri Lanka tour will never be the same without visiting this place. Known in English as Adam's bridge, it is located in Thalaimannar, a point that is in closest proximity with India. It was Lord Rama's magnificent creation which he built with the help of Hanuman and his Vanara army. The stones used to build this were in the category of Corals and Rama's name was carved on each of them. They stayed afloat and never drowned into the sea.
5 Colombo
Being the capital of Sri Lanka, this city is home to two famous temples: the Anjaneyar Temple and Kelaniya Temple.

Kelania temple was where Vibheeshan was coronated as king of Lanka, after his elder brother Ravana's death at the hands of Lord Shri Ram.
