Pure Love For God

Short Story, Hinduism
Pure love for God in its untainted form paves way for the highest expression of devotion.

Chaitanya Deva during his pilgrimage to the Southern parts of India came upon a devotee whose eyes brimmed with tears all the while a pundit was reading from the Gita.

When he was enquired, he replied that though he was not aware of the content in the Gita, he could perceive the beautiful form of Lord Krishna within him. He envisioned the Lord seated before Arjuna in the battlefield educating him on the sublime thoughts that He revealed in Kurukshetra. This was the reason for His eyes to well up with tears of joy and love.

Pure love paves way for the ultimate.
