On a visit to a fellow monk, Ungan who was ailing, Dogo asked "Where can I be able to see you again if you die and leave only your dead body?"
Ungan replied : "I will meet you where nothing dies"
Dogo criticizing his response said : " What you should have ideally said is that there is no place where nothing is ever born and nothing ever dies and that we need not see each other at all"
