Impersonating Shiva

By Staff

Short Story, Being God
As one thinks so one becomes.

A Bahurupi or a professional impersonator in the disguise of Shiva, visited a house. The master of the house gave him a rupee, but the man in disguise refused to accept it. After sometime he can back for the rupee removing the disguise. The owner of the house asked him the reason for refusing the money first when it was given.

The man said that since he had impersonated none other than Shiva, the greatest renunciate or Sannyasin, he was unable to touch the money. Now that he has returned as an ordinary man, he has come back for the money!.

If being God for a temporary span can make such an impact, one really realises his identity with Him by contemplating on His true nature of formlessness.
