The Futility Of Occultism

Occult Powers
A great siddha was once sitting on the sea shore when there arose a great storm. The Siddha in his distress of the sudden storm commanded the storm to cease with his occult powers. The storm at once succumbed to the Siddha's words and settled calmly.

A ship was sailing at a distance with its sails all set. With the wind being suddenly withdrawn by the occult powers of the Siddha, it capsized drowning all those who were on board. The Siddha who was responsible for the wind to cease accrued the sin of the death of the sailors on board. Furthermore he lost his occult powers and was subjected to suffer in purgatory.

Thus occult powers in anyway do not aid in seeing beyond things. Even with the mastery over such special powers, one is still stuck in the thickness of ignorance.
