Rukmini And Krishna's Flute

Krishna Flute
Rukmini, the consort of Lord Krishna was very possessive about Him and yearned to spend more time with Him. She realised that the flute got to spend more time with the Lord as it accompanied Him. almost every where.

Rukmini one day, while Krishna was in his bath, picked up his flute and breathed life into it. She then asked "How is it that you are close to Krishna when I, despite being His wife, unable to spend more time with the Lord?".

The flute was surprised and said, " I am also not aware of the reason. Look at me, I am just an empty stick with holes and not really useful to anybody. However when Krishna breathes life into me, mellifluous music flows out on its own. I do not have any mental blocks. You should also clear your blocks and be ready. To be ready is to be completely empty to allow the Lord to take you over totally.
Then you will also be close to Krishna"

Surrender is the highest form of devotion and the Lord remains unswerving in a devout heart.
