The Love Of God

Short Story, God's love
The love of God is infinite as His grandeur.

Once a servant brought a custard apple covered with a cloth for his master. He stood meekly in a corner of the master's house with reverence and humility. The master enquired what the object was beneath the cloth. The servant humbly produced the custard apple, feeling that he would be really happy if the master would accept it. The master took the fruit and relished it to his heart's content. The servant felt really gratified.

The Master of the universe likewise also accepts even the smallest offerings of His devotees with great love. The attitude with which the offering is made is what matters to Him. The offering as such whether big or small does not matter to Him.

The Lord's love is infinite as His grandeur, for what can actually be told of His love, when He is nothing but love?
