A terrific monster haunted a woman in her dream, in a mad rush behind her in a big haunted house. The dream recurred night after night with the hulking monster close to her heels as she ran gasping for breath.

One night, the dream for sure recurred and this time the monster had its hands on the woman and was about to tear her to pieces. The woman mustered her courage and confronted the demon thus : "What are you? Why do you have to chase me and what are you going to do to me?"

The monster, puzzled by the woman's sudden confrontation said "How do I know? It's your dream!"
