Akshaya Tritiya is when people buy and hoard gold from shops and worship them at home with a hope that their investment will yield dividends. When it comes to Griha Pravesh, there cannot be a day better than the Akshaya Tritiya. You can consider buying a new house or construct new house, strike a property deal, or take possession of property, or even renovate your homes such that the Tritiya will drive away evil spirits and provide wealth and prosperity for the inhabitants.

Akshaya Tritiya is a day where the good Muhurat lasts for the entire day. Every moment is an auspicious moment and muhurat on this day. AKshaya means that which never depletes. Rituals

Griha pravesh is an elaborate ritual that is followed by the home owners as per Vastu Shastra principles. A kalash sthapana alone can be conducted if you find it difficult to go through all the time consuming procedure. For the kalasha sthapana procedure, one has to ready a copper pot by pouring into it, water and grains with a coin. On the exterior of the pot, draw a swastika and dab some red kumkum. Cowrie shells also used in the puja, should later be placed inside your cash box. Finally, a ghee diya has to be lit, prayers for prosperity and good health should be completed, and then Prasad offered to God.

Plant trees like amla, mango as the tree will grow well and yield plenty of fruits.

Akshaya Tritiya Tips For Griha Pravesh Puja

1. The entire house, especially the puja Mandir has to be cleaned. Follow all the puja restrictions with respect to the puja of Lakshmi and Vishnu strictly. Your house should be painted fully. Light a Diya of camphor, or sandalwood, for your receiving positivity from the surroundings.

2. Have a clean heart, that wishes well for all, and adopt a polite behavior and be calm first of all. Do not do or say anything that hurts elderly people in the house. Arguments and fights are strictly banned on this day.

3. Name plate must be hanged on the main door, outside

4. Before you enter the threshold of the main entrance door, break a coconut and then enter inside. This will remove all hindrances that may bring down chances of success.

5. Do elaborate puja, with Slokas, Aartis and chime the bells to remove negative energy from the place.

6. Seek elders' blessings and invite people home for lunch on this day.
