Father’s Day Special: Things You Should Tell Your Father This Father’s Day
Without a doubt, a father is an integral part of any child’s childhood. Right from the birth, a father accompanies his baby in the journey of his/her life.
Without a doubt, a father is an integral part of any child's childhood. Right from the birth, a father accompanies his baby in the journey of his/her life. A father is the first role model of his son and the first love of his daughter.
His role is irreplaceable. But often, we forget to thank him or show him the appreciation that he truly deserves. It is much easier to see the sacrifices that a mother makes for the family. However, the hardship that a father goes through to raise his family often goes unnoticed.
We all have a complicated relationship with our fathers. We can be more open with our mothers and the display of love is often unrestricted with her. But with our fathers, we tend to hold back for some reason.
On the occasion of this Father's day, let us tell our dads how much we care for them. We have compiled a list of things that you should tell your dad today to show him how important he is for you. Take a look.

“You Are The Most Important Person To Me”
As a person, you may have grown up. You do not need your father's pinky finger to walk any more. You may have a family of your own but, today, let him know that he is the most important person in your life.

“I Will Always Be There When You Need Me”
Remember all those times when you cried and your father was there to console you? It is your turn now. Tell him that he is high priority on your list. Tell him that you might be busy in your life now but you will always be there for him when he needs you.

“You Are My Safety Net”
Your dad was there to catch you when you fell down as a child. There was no place safer for you in the whole world than the embrace of his arms. Let him know that he was and always will be your safety net.

“I Learnt Everything From You”
Your dad was your first teacher. He taught you everything, from how to speak to how to walk. He held your hand as you first wrote your alphabets and it was him who sang you the rhymes. Let him know that you appreciate everything that he has taught you and you are thankful for it.

“I Am Strong And Independent Today Because Of You”
Your dad was always your pillar. He always stood like a rock by your side no matter what the situation was. You are a strong person and are independent because these are things that were taught by him.
It was only because of his hard love that you are what you are today. Let him know that you are grateful for his support and thank him for it.

“You Are My Hero”
Your father was always your role model. Remember how you used to try to imitate the way he stood, the way he walked and the way he spoke?
You have become a good person today because he showed you how to by setting an example. Tell him how you consider him to be your hero and how he is the best role model that a child could possibly want.

"I Love You"
Tell your father how much you love him. The words ‘I Love You' are not often said to fathers, as they are always considered aloof and stoic. But they deserve to be shown love just as much as a mother. So, this father's day, let your dad know that you truly love him a lot.
