Reasons Why Indian Marriages Are Arranged
Why are Indian marriages arranged? This is one of the many questions most foreigners ask an Indian? It is also a common question that is asked by every second person tied into getting an arranged marriage.
Parents have their logic behind these arranged marriages and for some of the reasons listed below, we shouldn't fail to question the old folks. According to Indian parents, only an arranged marriage works.
It is as simple as that! However, we have a strange list of what the younger generation thinks of an Indian arranged marriage and why it simply works out to be the best. Take a look and be amazed!
WHY INDIANS LOVE ARRANGED MARRIAGES?
Reason 1: The first reason why Indian marriages are arranged is because parents don't believe in the idea of falling in love and meeting a life partner. It is only through the eyes of an arranged marriage will you be able to find inner peace, happiness and love for the rest of your life.
Reason 2: Indian marriages are arranged because of fear from the parents. Yes, parents are living in a bubble of fear, especially in regard to their daughters. Since we live in the 21st century and pre-marital intercourse is a must (for some) if your in a relationship, parents are scared of their daughters getting pregnant with someone they don't approve of or unfit to be as a son-in-law.
Reason 3: The other reason why marriages are arranged in India is only because it is a custom. Love marriages are still considered to be a taboo for some parents who live in the 21st century and who have a mindset stuck in the 60's.

Reason 4: The other common reason why marriages are arranged in India is because of parent's choice. They only want what's best for the child and looking for someone of high qualification and a high ranking. Not to forget - money has to be on top of the list.
