Why Is Registry Marriage A New Trend?

Registry marriages are mostly done by couples who are on long distance relation and by couples whose families don't accept their love. Indian Constitution states that legal marriage certificate is a must for every couple. Generally couples get married in the traditional way with rituals and functions performed in both the houses and after the cultural marriage, they apply for marriage certificate.
Registry marriage has become the last option for struggling couples who to stay with each other forever take the help of laws to tie the knot and be secure. Couples because of the movies have been inspired to opt for court marriages. They secretly get married during their relationship and stay separately i.e. in individual houses. The concept of court marriage has been encouraged by couples who try to secure their future from future troubles from family.
This is considered as legally accepted form of marriage but is discouraged by the society especially if done secretly. Inter-caste, age difference, family standards and status are primary reasons behind the rejection of the couples love. Love doesn't happen keeping all these factors in mind and helpless couples opt for legal procedure.
Court marriage is also a nice marriage form for families who don't prefer performing rituals due to personal reasons like finances, social standard and choice. There are couples who don't like to take the burden of preforming traditional method and so they try for this procedure.
So, if you are planning to go for registry marriage form, then it is good and safe but think as it is a big decision which stays for lifetime. All the best!
