Frank and Anita Milford
Frank and Anita Milford, aged 101 and 100 respectively, celebrated their 81st wedding anniversary recently. Are you wondering what is the reason for this long-lived marital relationship? Surprisingly, it is not the romance that rekindles the relationship but regular rows!

The couple first met at a YMCA dance in Plymouth. They became man and wife in 1928. They are still living in Plymouth, where they first met!

As for what's keeping them stay so strong - they say that they still have daily squabbles. It need not be big rows but just the odd crossword. These rows are healthy for their relationship.

However, as well as a little argument, "a little romance" is also essential. They believe that to win over your sweetheart you need a dose of old-fashioned chivalry and don't let your standards slip. They spend most of their time together, with the husband almost completely deaf and blind and wife being a chatterbox.

Their advice for the younger couple is to make time for a little romance every day. Couples these days don't last long because they often don't take enough time for each other. There isn't enough respect -- love is about give and take.
