10 Things To Never Do After A Fight
You must be familiar with that foul taste in your mouth after you have a serious fight with your partner. No matter where you are and what you do, you cannot seem to get that sense of dissatisfaction out of your mind. No matter how pissed you are with your partner, you must never do certain things after a fight. Doing these things will only aggravate your own hurt and make it tough for you to sort out your differences.
Ideally, you should try and do some romantic things after a fight so that you two can make up. But if you cannot summon up the emotional quotient to be romantic, at least avoid doing insensitive things after a fight to make matters worse. Don't keep thinking about how to punish your partner. What you really need is to think about how to end the fight and get back to normal.
It is easier to makeup after a fight than you think. You just have to keep your ego aside and think of the two of you as one entity instead of two individuals. Always remember that there is no harm in saying sorry even if you are not wrong.

Switch Off Your Phone
Most of us have done this to punish our better halves after a fight and it is an immature thing to do. Never be totally unavailable on purpose. It really hurts your partner and he/she might even be calling to say sorry.

Silent Treatment
If you are not taking your partner's calls after a fight and not responding to his or her messages, then you are cold shouldering him/her. It can work both ways. It may make your partner repent or simply move away.

Make Excuses For The Fight
Never try to justify the fight by making excuses for it. Never try to put the sole blame on your partner for fighting.

Say Sorry Too Soon
Don't say sorry immediately after a fight. When you say sorry in haste, you partner is tempted to think that you don't really mean it.

Make Love Just To End The Fight
Makeup sex is a very romantic thing to do after a fight. However, don't indulge in empty sex just because you want the bickering to stop. Never make love when you are still hurting or angry.

Keep Going Over It In Your Mind
Never ponder over a fight too long. When you keep thinking about a fight for too long, you will only end up making the hurtful and vengeful feelings to last longer. The fight starts growing on beyond a point.

Post Suggestive Status Updates
Posting sad status updates on your social networking profile will only be taking your fight public. Your friends will comment on your status and ask you what happened. It will only be portraying your partner in bad light.

Try To Make Your Partner Jealous
Sometimes, harmless flirting with 'friends' of the opposite gender might make your partner jealous. But the sensitive period after a fight is not the time to make your partner jealous. It might easily backfire.

Come Up With Jabs
Do not keep jabbing your partner under the belt while referring to the fight. Even if it is your partner's fault that you fought, repeated jibes will never do any good.

Close All Discussions If Your Partner Wants To Talk
Sometimes, your partner may want to talk about the fight and you may not have the mental bandwidth for it. In such cases, do not shut out your partner. Tell him or her that you are not in the state of mind to talk about the fight now but you will discuss it later.
