10 Healthy Ways To Express Anger In Relationships
Anger is an emotion that comes naturally to all of us. Even calmest of people feel their temper rising at some point of time. And it is only normal to feel angry with your partner sometimes. There is no couple in the world who can claim that they never feel like expressing anger in relationships. It is not bad to feel angry. But it is always better that you learn expressing anger in healthy ways. This will protect your relationship from damage that angry words can cause.
Words are very dangerous because once spoken, they can never be taken back. So you need to be careful while expressing anger in relationships. Ways to vent anger have to be constructive. You should convey the reason for your annoyance to your partner clearly. There is no use in expressing anger in your relationship solely for the purpose of hurting your partner.
IMPORTANCE OF GOALS IN RELATIONSHIPS
Anger management in relationships is necessary but it is equally essential that you let out your anger once in a while. Bottling up your anger can be very bad for your relationships. So try expressing anger in healthy ways instead of avoiding confrontations. This is because if you do not express your anger, it will make you hold grudges and you may become distant from your partner.
Here are some healthy ways to express your anger in relationships.

Silence
Silence always speaks louder than words. When you are angry, go silent and be rest assured that your partner will notice. But do not pull the silence too far that it makes you distant.

Anger Markers
Some statements are ‘markers' that you are angry. For example, ‘we need to talk'. This will convey the message to your partner that you are angry and need some resolution.

Tough Looks
Sometimes, the way you look at your partner should be enough to let him/her know that you are angry. Often tough looks can help your partner know that he or she is doing something that is making you angry.

Taking Time Outs
If you are so angry that you feel you cannot control yourself, go out and be alone. Taking a time out gives both partners some time to calm down and bring their anger under control.

Open Discussion
It is always better to have a clear and open discussion with your partner about why you are angry. Sometimes, spelling out the reason for your anger clearly helps to resolve problems easily.

Indifference
Indifference is the best way to show your anger. If you totally stop reacting to your partner, he or she is bound to notice this.

Outbursts Without Abuse
Despite all this gyaan, there might be some times when you two have angry outburst. When this time comes, treat it as a natural thing and always remember that venting anger should not be abusive either verbally or physically.

Crying To Yourself
Sometimes when you are really angry, crying it out to yourself can help you calm down. Don't cry in front of your partner because he or she will think you are making a scene or seeking sympathy.

Express Anger Immediately, Don’t Keep Grudges
If you are the kind of person who keeps grudges for a long time, then getting a little impulsive can help you. Make sure you express your anger before going to bed so that tomorrow can be a new day.

Write A Letter or Email Expressing Anger
If you are scared that speaking out your anger will lead to a fight, you should write down how you feel. Word carries more weight and helps you have confrontation without actually having one.
