They are just ways that allow these husbands to make sure their wives don’t get hurt easily. There is a thin line that divides lies from deception. Oh yes! I am on my way!
We all know how true this is. They may not even have left their office, but they still would say that they are on their way. How convenient! This is one of the several lies men tell wives. They plan a dinner, and are held up at the office by their boss. The best way to handle this situation is to call wife, ask her to get ready and say they are on their way. The wife will get ready and wait, and the husband will keep up with the lie. Each time the wife calls, they would say that they have moved just one inch in the traffic. Though this lie does not cool the wife down, it at least handles the situation in hand.

I am sober, don’t worry
He would have been gulping down every drink like a fish, yet he would conveniently say he is sober. This is one of the most common lies men tell wives. You won’t even find his appearance any near to sober, but you wish you could believe him. That is a lie! Some people are pretty good at maintaining deception and they would make sure you believe them that they are sober.

Wasn’t that dress similar to yours?
Husband caught staring at a woman? Well, the best way to move out of this situation is to make sure you get a lie out of your hat. Just tell your wife you noticed the dress to be similar to the one she has. You can wriggle out of the situation with such lies, and the wife won’t really make an issue. But, if she catches on the lie, then you are as good as dead.

I graduated with distinction
Well, haven’t we heard that one too? He may not have cleared the papers, but to save his face and the terrifying male ego, he would want to convince you that he graduated with distinction. If you know he is lying, you would rather allow him to fake around and accept his claim. Among the several lies men tell wives, this one is rather too harmless.
