Why Men Take Women For Granted

By Manash

When many relations get sour and complaints have flown from either party, a common accusation by women has been that the man in her life had taken her for granted. You may blame it on the biology or the way humans have been created, men traditionally have been built to hunt and bring home food and the woman to cook and protect the young ones.

In short, women usually mean stability and men adventure. Hence, a man may try every trick in the world to try to impress you, however, one you are with him, and he may lose interest in you. Here are some ways you may avoid being taken for granted by your man.

Why Men Take Women For Granted

Know your man- What kind of a person is he? While you promise to be with him all life, you also need to know him well. Otherwise, if you keep on doing good things to him, he may not appreciate and then he may just lose interest in you and may start taking you for granted.

He is the centre of your universe: Sure he is your focal point and he had fallen head over heels while proposing you. But in the process of loving him, do not forget yourself. A couple means you both. Give him a chance and time to care. Above all, never make your love for him his habit or he will start taking the woman in his life for granted.

Why this relationship? We know love is blind, but it does really helps if you question the foundations of your relationship. Is it because you can't stay single and wish to get hitched because you are insecure alone? If not, he will start losing interest to be with you and even if you still care for him, you will be as important as his tooth brush.

How hard does he have to try: At the beginning and now? Men like things tough. He liked the challenge while hunting you. But all of a sudden if you are too available for him, he will start taking his woman for granted!

Bored? May happen. After the so-called 5-year-period, after you give birth to kids and your family becomes complete, he may be plain bored of you. Complains such as "She no longer cares after our kids have come" starts going around. Start going on dates and honeymoons again, with your children, with your in-laws and your man will not take you for granted!

Sure a relationship blossoms from both partner's contributions. Men however, are designed to be promiscuous, and Mother Nature has created them like that. Hence keeping him guessing, making him want more from you, keeping small secrets from him may really help to keep him interested in you. Who knows he may not notice even an attractive girl while thinking of you. You are sure he will never ever take his woman for granted!
