By Sanchita

It is often said that fighting in a relationship is a healthy sign. But if fighting becomes a frequent affair then it may become harmful for long term relationships. If two people have decided to live together, it is almost impossible to avoid fights. These conflicts may happen due to various reasons. Sometimes it is money or a past affair while sometimes a genuine reason may not exist at all.

The list of silly reasons to pick up a fight is endless. Sometimes you may fight out of sheer jealousy or may be just for a cricket match. Sometimes you may not even realise that you are fighting over a trivial matter. But fights do happen in all relationships most of the time for such silly reasons.

Silly Reasons For Fights In A Relationship

Here is a list of silly reasons for which your partner and you might have fought once in a while.

Coming late for a date: This is one of the classic reasons for a fight in a relationship. When you have a date, you expect your partner to reach on time. However sometimes certain important things come up and he or she is not able to make it on time. This is when you lose patience and end up fighting over it.

No more questions: This mostly happens with men. They generally prefer not to answer too many questions. So, even when you ask a genuine question, they tend to get irritated and the argument ends up with a nasty fight.

Playing video games: Some men are totally addicted to video games. It is especially irritating when you want to have a serious conversation. But your partner does not realise this. Women often end up fighting with their men for this.

Bad habits: When one of you have a bad habit such as smoking or drinking, fight becomes inevitable. If your partner does not like any of these habits, the issue becomes serious and results in a huge fight.

Complimenting someone else: Sometimes when your partner compliments a beautiful lady or a handsome guy in front of you, you may feel envious. This often leads to heated arguments later.

Being lazy: Sometimes your partner's lazy attitude can also be a cause of fight. This generally happens when you are not in the right mood and your partner gives you a 'let it go' attitude.

Watching television: This is a common scenario in every home. If your partner keeps on watching daily soaps or cricket matches all the time, it makes you totally mad.

So next time you pick up a fight for any of these silly reasons with your partner, remember these points. You might even end up laughing on your own reasons.
