Love demands selflessness, sacrifice and consideration. But what happens when your partner turns out to be a selfish brute, who is only interested in himself and doesn't care what happens to you? A selfish attitude in a relationship is very unfortunate. It doesn't provide a healthy and stable environment for a relationship.

We sometimes become so engrossed in the person we love that we fail to notice some obvious signs of selfishness and inconsiderate behaviour. Selfishness is a difficult trait to identify. However if you are a keen observer then you can easily make out the selfish behaviour. This is not exactly about men bashing but the fact remains that men generally are not that selfless. They like to have their own way of life and follow their own rules, without much consideration for their partner.

So, how do you identify that your boyfriend is selfish? Here are some signs which indicate that your boyfriend is selfish in the relationship:

Self-obssessed: You know that your boyfriend is selfish if he keeps talking about himself all the time. He talks only about work, his friends, his feelings and everything that concerns only him. He will let you have a few sentences in between but mostly the conversation is all about him.

Doesn't care how you feel: When you tell him about things that you are upset about. But he doesnt seem to listen to any of it. This is an evident sign that your boyfriend is selfish.

Your sexual satisfaction isn't a big deal: If your guy is selfish, he will only look for his own sexual satisfaction and enjoyment. When it comes to you, he won't give any importance to it. It is important that both partners are sexually satisfied in a relationship.

Doesn't care about your time: Most of the time whenever you make a plan with your guy, he will either cancel, or postpone or arrive late, without an apology. It is a big indication that your boyfriend is selfish.

Doesn't offer help: So, if your car broke down or you fell sick and your guy doesn't offer any help or rather makes excuses for not reaching to help you out then be sure that your boyfriend is a really selfish guy.

Relationships are not easy to take forward. And dating a selfish person only adds to your woes. So, try to be out of the relationship in which your guy puts himself before your feelings and needs. You definitely deserve better.
