Faithful men - do they exist?

"As I sit down to write, I am reminded of a discussion I had with Radhika an old friend of mine at the mall last week. She was lamenting about her husband's misconduct for over an hour and presto, the next day, I bump into her husband at a party and he has a 'life can't be better than this' look on his face".

Unlike many women who hurt themselves unnecessarily by grieving over 'Unfaithful husbands or boyfriends', I on my part think it's not worth all the effort.

Why, look at the man more carefully, isn't he having a good time with everybody in general and what are you doing sitting here and waiting for your 'Man' to come to you with those sweet nothings.

Are men deceitful and insensitive when it comes to love and commitment?

Faithful men don't exist anymore, they are just a figment of our imagination, but we can hope and pray that we find men who will be all that we want them to be.

But, I'm an eternal optimist, therefore I see a world opening before me that makes me understand that its just better that you are away far far away from all these hassles about faithfulness and commitment in a relationship. No, am not saying you shouldn't be faithful to your man, but hey! Watch out, be sure that he is faithful to you too; otherwise you can always show him the door. Not wait for him to show the door to you.

A great deal of funny business is taking place between and women world over. Men want women to be loyal and faithful to them whereas they don't think twice before getting into relationships with other women. Well, we women are not baby producing machines. We don't think only of sex the way men do. They don't even make love; they just want to have sex. How long do they actually spend time talking to you when you are alone? They just get to 'doing' it as fast as possible.

Men view sex as a purely physical activity whereas women view it as part of a relationship, a security. Men don't hesitate looking at bikini clad women or even going out with women and not feel a pang of guilt for leaving their wives or girlfriends back at home with some lies.

It's not about not getting what you wanted, it's about insecurities, fears that has developed within yourself that makes you want to shun away from commitment.

Men are concerned with how much they get in a relationship? Well! "We are not having physical relationships", they cry. Have they ever about emotional fidelity? Isn't that another aspect looking in to? What if the man is spending time, more than required with another women. He may not be having a physical relationship but he is very much neglecting responsibilities.

Why are men unfaithful? Is it frustration? Or do they always want 'more'? Want is the key word here. Want more women to flaunt around with? Want to own every woman they eye? Or are they insecure? I guess it's not about not getting what you wanted, it's about insecurities, fears that has developed within yourself that makes you want to shun away from commitment. So, do you want to hang around with someone who is so insecure in life?

Men also have this confidence that women will never get over their 'Man' and will come running back to them in a jiffy, forgiving and forgetting what happened.

For men who are deceitful and insensitive when it comes to love and commitment, my verdict is simple! They should be dumped like garbage in the nearest trash bin.
