Male ego is an attitude which is natural. It can be positive or negative as it purely depends on the nature of the man. It becomes difficult to take negative ego and tackle with. The worst is when the man does not try to keep his ego behind in the relationship.

The dominant sex is very arrogant at times and it is difficult for the woman to cope with such attitude. In a relationship, ego of both the partners should not tally. But unfortunately, this ego pops up every time, especially during fights.

'I will not take an initiative and let her come' , is what goes on the mind of a man. Egoistic men are very reserved and it is difficult for them to adjust with anyone. It would be better to keep your dignity alive at such times. If he is not being good towards you in terms of behavior then don"t take any initiative. Give him time to become normal. This can only break his ego.

Never consider yourself low in front of him. The big hard rule for women is to not fall or lose in front of men. If they do so, their image will automatically fall below the man"s level and this variation will stick in his mind forever. Keeping your dignity in front of your man when he shows ego to you will help you tackle male ego to a great extent.

Men think that it is not difficult for them to achieve anything they want. In short, they are overconfident especially in terms of love. It is their common notion that girls will come to them as they believe girls want them more than they do. Break this very notion by becoming his alter ego in this context. If you know your man is an egoist then try not to reveal that you want him badly. It is human nature to go to cloud 9 if someone is crazy over you.

Leave your man alone if he tries to flaunt his ego in any aspect. If his flamboyance is justified and your reaction is hurting his dignity in front of your friends or relatives then try to solve it immediately. If the ego of a person is hurt once, it stays for a long time and tends to spoil the relation.

Men seldom accept their mistakes and bend down. Try to make him realize his mistake as it will only kill his ego. One sorry or a step to console angry you is what he avoids but a handful of men don"t take it to their ego. They understand that it is their fault so they try to make up for his behavior.

Understand the signs he shows if he is trying to approach. Don"t accept immediately. Take some time and then make him believe that you understand his mistake and yours too. Never show your ego if he is trying to make up for his mistakes. This may add more to his ego and then your ego will ultimately spoil your relationship.

Never apologize in front of your man if you are not at fault. At the most his ego will stop him from talking to you for few days or weeks but he will come to you in the end as his love will be equally strong like his ego. Dealing with an egoist is not that difficult. All you need is the courage and smartness to reply back to his dominating ego.
