Men Are Most Romantic When They Hit 53!

Men are at their most romantic when they turn 53, reveals a new survey. It has been proven that men over 50 know far more than younger blokes about the kind of gestures which touch women.

According to a survey conducted by Jim Forward, of Warner Leisure Hotels, a third of the over 50s have recently surprised their partner with champagne compared to just 19 per cent of men in their 20s.

"When a man reaches 53 he is more likely to make an effort after blundering through the early years of his," The Sun quoted Forward, as saying.

The study also found 28 percent had written touching poems, while other 48 percent took their better halves to spontaneous picnics or days out
