Well, here I am, writing on what women want. This is to help men understand what women expect from them. Let me tell you, writing this is not all that easy though I am a woman myself. I however have a strong reason for saying so.

Almost all men look for the same qualities in every woman. But not all women look for the same qualities in every man. Hence what a woman looks for in her man depends mostly what she is and how she thinks. Now this also explains why a woman does not fall for every Tom, Dick and Harry.

The foremost things women look for in men are sincerity and honesty. Women want men to be truthful. Just be yourself and do what you want to, but do not pretend or lie to your woman. Women have strong intuitions and can easily pick you when you are lying. Always remember, women hate liars.

Closely following sincerity, are a lot many things like focus, intelligence, confidence and stability. Women are always far-sighted and focused. They don't much like the theory of 'living for the present'. Women prefer men who are focused in life. Any woman would want her man to know what he wants and the means to achieve it. He should be brave and courageous to cross all hurdles and face difficult situations. He must be confident about himself, his abilities, his dreams and wishes. He must intelligently handle the various aspects in his life like career, family, friends, hobbies and interests and of course love.

Woman seeks stability and for this she turns to her man. A Woman feels secure if she knows that her man is stable. Stability not only mean financial stability, it also includes mental strength and emotions, which are important for any relationship to flourish. We all know men swear by their masculinity. Men believe they should not cry or display their emotions, as they will then be considered weak. There are also times when men don't share with women their problems and feelings. All this is because they think women don't like hearing them out. But the truth is that women appreciate men who can come out with their emotions and feelings. Women are always ready to discuss issues that trouble their partner.

Another important 'man' element is being rough-and-tough. Not all men believe in taking care of themselves or grooming themselves. This could be because they don't find it manly. But let me tell you, women tend to love men who take care of their bodies and give importance to their dressing and appearance. Women want men to be neat, clean, well groomed and physically fit.

Besides these there a certain other things men should make note of. First comes leadership. Women love it when men make the first move or take the first step. She will not mind following and supporting a man who can lead her confidently. He should be smart, intelligent and brave enough to lead her. But leading a woman does not mean dominating her. No woman will love and respect a man who tries to dominate her. Women don't like to be forced and ordered around. Men should carefully note the difference between leading and dominating. A man who can lead a woman should be chivalrous. She will love it if he is well mannered and polite. If the man is more than willing to shower his woman with compliments, then nothing can stop her from falling head-over-heels in love with him. Women love being complimented for their looks, intelligence, culinary skills and other special qualities. But again, be sincere with your compliments.

Now it is time for something women don't look for in men. It is the dirty 'male ego'. Men should avoid carrying the baggage of their ego, especially when they are with a woman. Nothing puts off a woman like his ego. He should stop thinking that perhaps he is the best thing that could have happened to her.

Finally, to help all men out there, let me summarise. Men should first learn that women are different from them and so they should not treat women like their buddies. When it comes to relationship, a man should learn to be sensitive and understanding and not egoist and stubborn. If you think women are never satisfied then you need to think again. Truly speaking, a woman can be satisfied easily. All she needs is honesty, love, affection and a little pampering. Be completely with her, when you are with her.
