Ramadan 2025 Special Recipes : Cool, Sweet, And Refreshing Drinks To Rehydrate This Iftar!
After a long day of fasting, nothing feels more rejuvenating than a sip of something cool and hydrating. While water and dates are traditionally the first choice, adding refreshing beverages to your Iftar table can not only quench your thirst but also provide essential nutrients.
Here are two delightful drinks-Rose Milk Sharbat and Jaggery Lemonade, that are perfect for breaking your fast.
Rose Milk Sharbat

A fragrant and cooling drink, Rose Milk Sharbat is a soothing blend of chilled milk, aromatic rose syrup, nourishing nuts, and hydrating sabja seeds. This beverage is not only delicious but also helps replenish energy after fasting.

- 2 cups cold milk
- 3 tbsp rose syrup (Rooh Afza or any rose-flavored syrup)
- 2 tbsp mixed nuts (almonds, cashews, pistachios)
- 1 tbsp sabja seeds (basil seeds), soaked in water for 10 minutes
- 1 tsp sugar or sweetener (optional, as rose syrup is already sweet)

- Adjust sweetness: Taste and adjust the sweetness by adding more rose syrup if needed.
- Serve chilled: Pour into glasses, add ice cubes if desired, and enjoy this floral and nutty delight!
Jaggery Lemonade

This natural and energizing jaggery lemonade is packed with electrolytes, making it an excellent choice to rehydrate after fasting. The earthy sweetness of jaggery, the zing of lemon, and the cooling effect of sabja seeds create the perfect balance of taste and refreshment.

Mix It Up
