How To Prepare Fluffy, Foamy Dalgona Coffee Recipe
Dalgona otherwise referred to as whipped up coffee is a timeless Korean coffee that was popularised overnight as a trend through TikTok. It is a coffee for all seasons and reasons. This pleasantly sweet beverage has a thick layer of fluffy coffee topping over the iced milk. Made of four ingredients, instant coffee, sugar, water, and milk taken in equal parts, it is a frothy concoction made by whipping them well.

Early in 2020, a viral tiktok video challenging people to make Dalgona Coffee at home, hit the curiosity and imagination of people. A fluffy foam is achieved only by using sufficient sugar. The name "Dalgona", in Korean means "it's sweet. Dalgona coffee tastes like a sweet cup of fluffy foamy coffee which is whipped to have a smooth meringue like texture. See that you use only instant coffee. To make hot coffee, use hot milk instead of cold milk. Add more sugar as per your taste.

Instant Coffee-1 Tablespoon
Sugar-3 Tablespoons
Hot Boiling Water-2 Tablespoons
Milk -1.5 Cups (At Room Temperature Or Chilled)
Ice Cubes – As Required
Cocoa Powder For Topping-¼ Teaspoon

To whip the coffee mixture, mix Coffee, Sugar, and hot boiling water in a bowl..
Beat the mixture till thick and creamy with a small whisk.
Firstly beat is clockwise and then stir it in a zig zag way. See that it does not spillover in the process.
You can use a hand held mixer also to whip it up.
Now to prepare Dalgona Coffee, firstly add 2 ice cubes in a mug.
Distribute and pour milk equally in both mugs
Divide the whipped coffee into two equal portions and fill in the two mugs.
Sprinkle some cocoa powder on the coffee and serve.
