Problems In Conception After A Woman Turns Thirty
Due to various reasons, it has become a tendency among women nowadays to delay their pregnancy till they are in their mid thirties. However, due to a number of pressing issues, one should start thinking about becoming a mother much before that.
Here are a couple of reasons why you should start planning for a baby before you turn thirty five. Women's fertility peaks in their early twenties, and starts to increasingly decrease after that. At around thirty five years of age comes an incredibly remarkable drop off stage and fertility then starts to decrease at a far more rapid rate.

Women in their thirties have around a 1 in 900 chance of having an infant with Down syndrome, while the chance of mothers who are around twenty five years of age is only 1 in 1500. By the time a woman reaches forty years of age, her chances for having a baby with Down syndrome are as good as 1 in 375.

The potential risk of a miscarriage also increases in direct relationship with the age of the mother. In women more than thirty five years of age, the miscarriage rate is around eighteen percent, compared to only around ten percent when women are in their late twenties or their early thirties.
