Watch Your Posture : Make sure that you sit in the right posture! Sitting on the chair for a long period of time may strain your spine. Don't cross your legs, as that can cause the pelvis to tilt forward. Use a foot rest and elevate your feet slightly.
Avoid Lifting Heavy Loads: One should avoid lifting weights during pregnancy. Lifting heavy weights can cause muscle pain and a severe back pain. If heavy weights are lifted, it diverts the blood flow from the internal organs to the muscles.
Get A Massage: A gentle massage can ease your back pain. Concentrate more on the acupressure points, as that stimulates the contractions. It is advisable to take the first massage after your first trimester. A massage provides relaxation and eases your backache.
