How To Find Out The Most Fertile Days
Every month a woman goes through a menstrual period. The question here arises is how to keep track of periods?
This cycle of the uterus lining forming and shedding differs in timing for each individual. While many have a twenty eight day cycle there are others having as less as twenty one days to as many as thirty five days.
On an average a healthy woman would have a twenty eight day menstrual cycle. During this period the uterus lining will form, the ovary will release the egg which will travel down the fallopian tube and settle in the uterus.
When Should You Stop Breast Feeding?
In the absence of fertilization the uterus sheds its lining and the egg which flows out as the menstrual cycle. Keeping track of this menstrual cycle helps pinpoint the most fertile days of the cycle.
So if you are planning to get pregnant these are the best days to conceive a baby and if you are not you would rather avoid sexual intercourse in this time. This period is known as your fertile window.
Knowing your periods will give you a fair idea of the most fertile days.

It is worth mentioning here that the ovulation day does not fall in the middle in of a menstrual cycle as is believed by many. If your cycle comprises of thirty five days your ovulation period will be on day twenty one and not day seventeen. So no matter what your cycle always go fourteen days back and you get your ovulation day.
Now if you look for the best days to conceive a baby these will be five days before the ovulation day and throughout the ovulation day. This is because of the simple fact regarding the life span of the sperms and the egg.

If you have intercourse upto five days before the ovulation day the sperm will live to fertilize the egg. But if you miss a day before or after you lose that fertile window and will have to wait for the next ovulation.
It is advisable to have sex at two days intervals especially during this fertile period to ensure egg fertilization as the chances of getting pregnant increase as the day of ovulation gets closer.
