Health Risks Of Multiple Abortions
Not many are aware that continual abortions do raise the risk of life threatening problems. And repeated abortions will make your future pregnancies problematic. Some research suggests that multiple abortions create complications for women such as the integrity of the cervix, stern pelvic inflammatory disease, increase the risk of miscarriage and premature births. These are some of the reasons why multiple abortions are harmful.
It is said that women who have repeated surgical abortions to a certain extent are more likely to have complications such as pre-term births or low birth weight babies. Women who have experienced three or more abortions can cause harm to their cervix. Moreover it can even intensify the risk of miscarriages later.
SIDE EFFECTS ON HEALTH AFTER AN ABORTION!
Some of these complications in abortion do affect fertility and even cause pre-natal complications. Many couples these days are dealing with the agony of infertility, ectopic pregnancy or birth defects. Infertility is defined as the failure to produce a pregnancy even after 12 months of trying. The common growing rates of infertility can be attributed to several things yet many medical practitioners are always diffident to name surgical abortions as the reason for some such complications. Here are some of the common reasons why multiple abortions can be risky to your health.

Miscarriage
Sometimes even taking medication for medical abortion can lead to miscarriage. If by any chance there is damage in the cervix, it is more likely to become weaker for future pregnancy. On the other hand it also runs the risk of miscarriage. If the womb is damaged during abortion it can cause a scarring of the womb.

Premature Delivery
This is one of the effects of multiple abortions. The reason for this is harmful because it may increase the risk of premature delivery and anomalous development of the placenta.

Ectopic Pregnancy
Repeated abortions are considerably related to the risk of ensuing ectopic pregnancies. Ectopic pregnancy is termed as life threatening and moreover there is a possibility that it can lead to reduced fertility.

Pelvic Inflammatory Disease
Pelvic inflammatory disease is also the reason for multiple abortions. PID is also a life threatening disease which can turn to infertility. It can cause scar tissues of the fallopian tubes, causing them to be narrow, which eventually lead to reduced fertility. Occasionally PID can occur after miscarriage or abortion. A woman who has a PID is also at the risk of having ectopic pregnancy.

Infertility
Most women assume that abortions cause problems with fertility and feel that they cannot get pregnant when they are ready, however in reality infertility problems arise by abnormal scarring of the uterus after a dilation and curettage procedure (for abortion).

Endometritis
Endometritis is the reason for repeated abortions. It is a post abortion risk for all women. Women in the age group of 20-29 do obtain endometritis following abortion.

Uterine Perforation
Mostly 2 to 3% of abortion patients may suffer perforation of their uterus. Women who have given birth previously experience the risk of uterine perforation. Even the risk is possible for patients receiving general anesthesia at the time of the abortion.

Infection
Health risks from multiple abortions can be harmful since women will face common complications such as excessive bleeding, infection, convulsions, anesthesia complications, embolism, ripping of the uterus, endotoxic shock, cervical injury and hemorrhage. Some studies have found that women who face more than two to more abortions experience greater risk of these complications. On the other hand some of the other minor complications of multiple abortions include chronic abdominal pain, burns, vomiting and gastro-intestinal disturbances.
These are some of the reasons for multiple abortions can be harmful.
