Harmful Infections Foetus Gets From Mother
Pregnancy is the time when you will be nursing the weirdest thoughts ever. This is a phase when you are looking out for your baby’s health the most. You will be doubtful about your eating habits to keep at bay any health risks for your baby.
Mothers-to-be can be thankful to all the vaccination programmes that have been developed. It will prevent the child from developing dangerous infections such as rubella and measles.
In most of the cases, your baby will be safe even though you might be carrying an infection. This is because the placenta does a purification process before the blood reaches the child. The problem comes when the infection passes through the placenta. This can cause complications for you and the child. It can also lead to many pregnancy complications.

Getting the appropriate prenatal care is necessary. You will also need to take extra care of yourself during your pregnancy. The following are a few infections that harm foetus. You need to take appropriate care of yourself that will prevent diseases from harming you or your child.
