Way To Ease Back Pain In Labour
Knowing that you are becoming a mother is one of the most special feelings on earth. You may also prepare yourself during the days of pregnancy to welcome the new born. However, moms-to-be may have several doubts arising in their minds regarding pregnancy and labour and back pain is one among them. Women experience pain in various parts of the body during labour and it depends on the baby's position.
Back labour is a term that is used when the maximum discomfort and pain of labour occurs on the lower back. Back labour is said to happen when the baby changes its position while entering the birth canal. This may not be the case always. Labour differs from woman to woman and some women experience excessive pain in their lower back compared to others. The condition is not anything unnatural or dangerous. However, the pain in the lower back can cause too much of discomfort to the mother and one of the best ways is to encourage the baby to change positions which will ease back pain labour.
Here are a few tips to ease back pain labour. However, we request you to consult your doctor before following it and also discontinue the methods if it causes some pain or uneasiness.

Physical activity helps
Physical activity is one of the best ways to control back pain and ease back pain labour. Try going for a walk. It may give you some comfort and put you at ease.

Go for a water massage
One of the ways to ease back pain labour is to stand under the hot water shower for sometime or ask your husband to aim it on your lower back.

The Pressure Technique
Use your hands to push and rub just below or above the sacrum so that it eases the back pain. Most moms' asks for pressure to be applied on these regions as they feel the comfort.

On the hands & knees
Being on hands and knees is the best way to ease back pain labour. This technique helps control back pain. When the mom is on hands and knees, it pushes the baby a bit out of the pelvis and this gives the baby enough room to rotate. This position provides great counter pressure to the back.

Try pelvic tilts
This is a common technique which any pregnant woman can try. This is also one of the easiest ways to ease back pain labour. All that is needed is to tuck your bottom in and try to bring it back to the original
