Vaccinations
When you are planning to conceive, it is best to get vaccinated to prevent you from dangerous diseases which is harmful during pregnancy. Diseases like that of mumps will affect sperm production.

All forms of abuse
According to experts, they say that all forms of substance abuse will affect the sperm production and the egg release. It is best to stay away from alcohol at this period of time to prevent infertility.

Contraception
Hormonal contraception seems to reduce the incidence of some sexually transmitted diseases. But, in addition to that the hormonal contraception may protect from endometriosis and the formation of endometrial cancer.

Exercises
It is vitally important to keep yourself fit and trip when you are trying to conceive. Exercising will help to prevent infertility. A balanced lifestyle to stay active and healthy is necessary. Leading a sedentary lifestyles will lead to weight problems, which is potentially a threat to fertility.

Smoking
This is yet another form of abuse which is not good for women and the man when they are planning for a family. It is said that cigarette smoking will lower sperm counts in men and increases the risk of miscarriage and premature birth. Smoking by either partner reduces the chance of conceiving with each cycle.

Eating disorders
To prevent infertility, women are seriously underweight can be a problem. Eating disorders lead to fertility problems.

Exposure to some chemicals
If you love gardening, you need to be careful as to what type of pesticides and herbicides you are using. To prevent infertility, it is best to go in for organic farming.

Age
The age plays a significant role when it come to conceiving. It is said that a woman's fertility starts to drop after she is about 32-years-old. For men, it is usually at the age of 50 where he is usually less fertile than a man in his 20s or 30s.
