Prevent Severe Itching Of Stretch Marks!

How to get rid of itching and stretch marks?
1. Avoid taking hot water bath as it can dry the skin and increase the chances of itching. It is best to apply mild soap with natural moisturizer.
2. Never wipe off water from the body with pressure. Put light pressure while using a towel to prevent the skin from drying. This also reduces the chances of getting stretch marks.
3. Oatmeal bath is effective to get rid of itching during pregnancy. It moisturizes the skin and keeps it smooth.
4. You can add a tsp of baking soda in water while taking bath. It gives a soothing effect and keeps the skin moisturized.
5. Apply an unscented moisturizer after bath. Scented cosmetics can lead to skin irritation and itching.
6. Prefer light cotton clothes which are easy to carry and are good for the skin too. Linen, polyester or Lycra material can make the skin dry and itchy.
7. Never scratch on the itch. This is a very important tip to prevent unwanted stretch marks. Apply moisturizer when the skin feels itchy.
8. Try to rub fingertips softly if the itching is intense. Never use nails or any sharp end object to scratch the red marks on the skin.
9. Massage the dry, itchy skin with olive or almond oil to reduce the chances of getting stretch marks. This method also helps get rid of itching during pregnancy.
10. Mix almond oil with cocoa butter and apply on the itchy skin. It provides relief from itching and keeps the skin moisturized.
